Vladimir ''7Starr'' Laurore is a pioneer of the Canadian Krump scene. In 2005, he co-founded the first Krump crew in Canada, Bzerk Squad. 7Starr co-created Gutta Zone, the first and largest Krump event in the country. Currently, he is President of the Montreal Krump Alliance, a non-profit organization that specializes in promoting Krump culture across Canada. In 2017, he received the Victor Martyn Lynch Staunton award given by the Canada Council for the Arts and the Gloria Michell-Aleong award, granted by Black Theatre Workshop for outstanding artistic achievements by Canadian artists.
Valerie “Taminator” Chartier has gained much experience over the span of her 35 year dance career. Trained in ballet, jazz,, contemporary and waacking, she is also a Canadian Krump pioneer and one of the first female Krumpers in Canada. She founded the first all-female Krump crew BuckSwans and is now the director of the educational and artistic program LeadHers, which empowers women to reach their full potential through Krump. LeadHers is a branch of the non-profit organization Montreal Krump Alliance, promoting Krump culture across Canada, and of which she is Vice-President. Since 2014, Valerie has been the organizer of the event THE CLASH: a “culture shock” between Krump and all the styles. She teaches Krump to youth and adults, and recently opened a LeadHers class for ladies. Valerie performed in different shows for the past 20 years and has been travelling around the world to teach workshops and compete in the biggest competitions. In 2017, she received the Female Krumper of the Year award granted by FCD Krump for her international influence and involvement in the Krump culture.
Originally from France, Kevin Gohou was introduced to Krump at the age of 15 and has dedicated his life to this art form since. In August of 2014, after 5 years of intensive dance training with one of the creators and pioneer of Krump dance, Tight Eyez., Kevin was ranked Jr Maddripp in the Tight Eyez fam. Kevin lives up to his reputation as one of the mentors and innovators of the Krump movement in Europe and has traveled, taught, battled and judged at some of the most prestigious events in France, Italy, Germany, England, Denmark, Holland, Czech Republic, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Iceland, U.S.A and Canada. Currently residing in Montreal, Kevin is teaching the youth and new generation in various studios as well as continuing to develop the movement of Krump across Canada and Europe. With many years ahead of him, he strives to leave his trace in the history of Krump worldwide.
Jigsaw is an artist with an extensive knowledge of various street styles, with a focus on Hip Hop and Krump. He began to learn Hip Hop from 2marvelous, afterwards venturing to pursue Krumping in 2006 after watching the documentary film Rize. The film led him to want to learn more about the culture and to help him on his path towards years of dedication and discovery. His path led him to Mecdy "Venom" Jean-Pierre who introduced him to Otis Hopson, leader of the Bzerk Squad, the first Krump crew in Canada, as well as 7Starr, and other Krump veterans such as Taminator, the first female Krumper in Canada. Jigsaw was later recruited by the Bzerk Squad leading him to train intensively, perform, battle, teach, and travel to Los Angeles, the birthplace of Krump, to learn from the pioneers. After ten years of dedication to his art, Jigsaw has become one of the new generation of leaders of Krump in Canada, spreading knowledge about this art. His motto is “be confident, be honest with yourself, continuous growth, dedication, research, and elevation.”
Yannice Ouellet attended her first Krump class in January 2010 with Valerie Chartier aka Taminator. In 2011, Taminator recruited her to her new all-female Krump crew BuckSwans. Since then, Yannice has continued her training, participated in different events and battles around the world such as Hit The Floor, Bust A Move, THE CLASH, 100lux festival in Montreal, Ladies of Hip Hop Festival in New York, and The Illest Krump Championship in Paris. Yannice also trains in Popping and Hip Hop, and is part of the female popping crew Ladies, directed by Gabriel "Scarr" Grégoire Leblanc. Vilain aka Kid Taminator constantly perfects her craft by attending workshops around the world. In 2017, she studied in the SLX program given by Krump creator “Tight Eyez” in Las Vegas. She is developing her style in Hip Hop and Popping through different projects, productions and creation laboratories. Yannice is also an instructor, leading the next generation by sharing her knowledge and experience through her teachings.
Cursed started Krumprump in 2010 at the Côtes-des-Neiges Community Center with 7Starr and also took classes with Ozcar and Taminator for several years. He has participated in numerous international tournaments such as The Realm in Los Angeles, Revelation 2 in Texas, Bring The Heat in France and represented Team Canada at one of the biggest Krump events in the world : International Illest Battle in Paris .
He deepened his knowledge by continuing his training with renowned Krump dancers including Grichka, Basix, Tight Eyez, to name a few. In 2014, he became an official member of Intimidate Fam, led by Kevin ''Jr Maddripp'' Gohou.
Since then, he has continued to be an important player in the Canadian Krump movement through his teaching and participation in various activities taking place in Canada.
Arielle ''Craze'' Veyitondolo, fell in love with Krump in 2009 after taking classes at the Centre Communautaire de Loisir de la Côte-Des-Neiges in Montreal. She was then recruited in 2012 by Taminator as a member of the all-female dance crew: BuckSwans. Craze has participated in several events and competitions such as Gutta Zone, Hit The Floor, Bust A Move, THE CLASH, and Festival 100Lux in Montreal, Ladies of Hip-Hop Festival in New York, The Illest Krump Championship and Heavyweight in Paris, and was a finalist at W.A.R Wild & Raw. Arielle travelled to Paris to perfect her skills and gain more knowledge about European Krump culture. She is now a member of the Intimidate Fam as Girl Intimidate. Craze continuously aims to improve her craft and wants to spread the culture through teaching, battling and performing.
